With current nuclear generating capacity approaching the end of it's life in the UK, and with question marks over the secure supply of gas and the requirement not to generate greenhouse gases with coal powered stations, it is becoming imperative to build new nuclear power stations to provide for the future.
Throughout our history we have been involved in capital projects such as nuclear powerplants. Castle were responsible for the manufacture of the secondary floor shields built for both Heysham and Torness nuclear power stations. We look forward to being involved in the creation of the next generation of nuclear power stations.
