In terms of capability over the next decade, the company will expand it's capacity in the area of small and large CNC grinding and advanced full 5 axis machining.
One area of our technological development which is leading edge and continuing to blossom is our in-house generated computerised production control system. Current projects include camera monitoring of machining processes and visual recognition systems that will track tool holders and tools using 2D barcodes. Also due for implementation is a computerised asset register and well under development is the project to eliminate paper and retain documents electronically and as scanned documents. Apart from saving literally tons of paper, the electronic distribution of reports into the factory means instantaneous access to data when it is required.
