The advancement that has come about in the modern world, and the reason for the rapid advances of society is inextricably linked to the rise of the company. Governments do not bring about social and economic improvement; companies do. It is no accident that when China embraced a company friendly culture, it went from being a third world backwater to an industrial superpower and the Indian subcontinent, on seeing the Chinese example and embracing it, has lifted millions of people out of poverty.
Since the industrial revolution companies and entrepreneurs have always recognised their social responsibilities and just as the armed forces have turned boys into men, so companies would provide youngsters with a work ethic, a sense of purpose, a sense of self worth and a non destructive, indeed creative focus for their energy. At the same time these early business tycoons were unbelievably philanthropic, often donating their entire fortune to the nation. The generosity of Scottish entrepreneurs such as Burrell and Carnegie left a legacy to the nation of Galleries, Buildings and Artwork of inestimable value. Today it is people like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates who are giving many tens of billions of dollars to alleviate third world poverty and disease.
Although we are not on their scale, we believe we have a social duty, and each year, where it is prudent, we donate monies to a variety of charities. If every SME does the same, together we can have a major impact.
Also within local community we liaise with the local schools, both on employment and small projects where we can assist. As the company grows, so does it's ability to contribute.
One such charity who have benifited from out donation are the Inti Wara Yassi organisations who provide the only animal refruge facilities in Bolivia, helping to preserve some of the countries most endangred species including the animals featured in the video clip above. Our Managing Director's son recently did volunteer work for the charity, helping to look after injured and abused animals that have been rescued by the organisation.
Without the donations from volunteers and ex-volunteers from around the world, this non-profit making, non-governmental organisation could be a sanctuary to so many animals.

Finally our customer often ask us to assist with their own charitable events, we are happy to oblige by providing prizes for their fund raising efforts; together we can make a difference.
